METHOD FOR INPUTTING CHARACTERS IN COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A method for inputting characters in the communication terminal is provided to carry out character input for various languages. CONSTITUTION: A control unit checks whether the input of a character input key is generated(311). In case that the character input key is inputted, the control unit approaches a character input mode(313). Then, the control unit displays various kinds of languages and selects a language required by a user(315). The control unit loads the basic character table of the selected language from a memory(317). The control unit projects the basic character table on the keypad(319). The control unit checks whether there is a character input by the user(321). Detecting the character input, the control unit displays the inputted characters on a display part(323) and stores them in a required storage domain(325). The control unit checks whether there is the input of a completion key(327).
