PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner having high heat efficiency and a small kitchen range which can prevent the clogging of flame holes due to overflown broth. SOLUTION: A flame hole section 12 is provided on an inclined surface 9 from the top section to the bottom section of a burner cap 7 so as to facilitate the concentration of heat by directing all flames nearly upright. In addition, a groove 16 is provided on the lower surface of the outer peripheral section of a broth shielding body 31 and the top section 32 of an opened pipe 33 is protruded upward. Therefore, the creeping of broth to the flame hole section 12 and the intrusion of the broth into the opened pipe 33 can be prevented simultaneously.
