PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire bridging device for a wire saw which can immovably hook a wire easily and in a short time along a running route between a reel mechanism and a cutting mechanism. SOLUTION: A guide rail 36 is arranged to extend along a running route of a wire 18 in a wire saw. A conveying unit 37 is supported onto the guide rail 36. The conveying unit 37 is self-propelled for movement. A wire grasping part 38 grasping an end part of the wire 18 for immovably hooking it to a wire guide member 27 in the running route of the wire 18 is provided in the conveying unit 37. |
