PURPOSE: A driving device for bicycle is provided to increase a propelling force of bicycle and to stably travel with a handicapped person lacked a foot-operating efficiency and a normal person. CONSTITUTION: When a right pedal(130) is stepped, an elevating member(120) inserted the pedal(130) inside an elevating tube(110) is vertically fallen via the elevating tube(110). A wire(180) combined in the elevating member is pulled downward. The wire is lifted an elevating member(120') of an opposite direction by passing upper switching pulleys of direction(160)(160'). A driving pulley(140) is rotated by the pulling of the wire(180) with passing a lower switching pulley of direction(170), a driving pulley(140) of the opposite direction and a middle switching pulley of direction(150). A rotating shaft of a sprocket wheel combined with the driving pulley with one directional clutch bearing is rotated in a right direction. A rear wheel connected with the sprocket wheel gets a propelling force.
