摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a direction intersecting a paper direction or a direction along a paper transportation direction by an electrode pattern by performing a switching by an electric switching means and selectively supplying voltage to one inter-electrode of first and second electrodes or third and fourth electrodes. SOLUTION: A static electricity carrier device is constituted of positive or negative power feeding members for first and second electrodes 90, 91, negative or positive power feeding members for second and first electrodes 92, 93, an electrode pattern part 94, a sucking part 95, a carrier belt 98, high voltage generator 101, an electrode switching device 102, and first and second terminals 102a, 102b. The carrier belt 98 is driven via a motor 100 and a driving belt 97 and high voltage is generated by the high voltage generator 101. When a fiber-orientation direction of paper in a carrier state is parallel with a carrier direction, the first terminal 102a is selected by the electrode switching device 102 and power is fed to a first pattern. When the fiber-orientation direction of paper is perpendicular to a carrier direction, the second terminal 102b is selected and power is fed to a second electrode pattern.
