PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high speed print processing of print data. SOLUTION: For a print data from the host computer 1 side, a band editing section 4 generates a display list in units of band and a CPU 41 or 42 writes a write command in the display list and then a print mechanism section 10 prints out the written data, i.e., a bit image.
