PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a propeller shaft to be connected to a power shaft to the rear of a machine body approximately horizontally by lowering the mounting location of an engine. SOLUTION: A sulky rice transplanter 10 has a traveling machine body 16 supported by front wheels 12 and rear wheels 14. The traveling machine body 16 has a pair of right and left main frames 18 arranged approximately in parallel in the longitudinal direction of the machine body. The main frames 18 are extended in the downward direction at the front part of the machine body. An engine 20 is supported from the under side by extended parts 18a so that the mounting location of the engine 20 is lowered, a propeller shaft 56 to be connected to a power shaft 54 of the engine 20 is extended approximately horizontally to the rear of the machine body without being bent and is connected to a transmission, or the like.
