PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide welding equipment capable of realizing a copying mechanism in a simple constitution, reducing its size and cost and conducting high quality seam welding. SOLUTION: Welding equipment 1 is provided with a welding head 2 movable along the end faces of materials 30, 31 to be welded, a pair of guide rollers 18 and a parallel opening/closing chuck 4 to press the welding head 2 on the end face 33 and to press the guide roller 18 on the end face 33, the welding head 2 is provided with a welding electrode 14 and a pair of guide rollers 15 arranged along the welding direction sandwiching the welding electrode 14. Groove parts, into which end face 33 sides of the materials 30, 31 are inserted, are formed to the outer circumferential parts of the guide rollers 15, 18. Further, the groove parts have abutting faces, on which the outside corner parts of the materials 30, 31 are abutted to act the force to push the materials 30, 31 each other. Welding is conducted in a state in which the guide rollers 15, 18 are pressed on the respective end face 33 while moving the welding head 2.
