PURPOSE: A printer body is provided to connect by a power supply cord or every sort of cable as an electrical connection piece when installing a printer by using a certain installation surface by preparing multiple installation surfaces in a printer body. CONSTITUTION: A printer(10) body(11) is composed of a front face(11a), a bottom face(11b), a rear face(11c) and two side faces(11d,11e). A discharge port(12) of papers is formed adjacent to the upper part of the front face. The printer receives a roll sheet(20) as a printing paper in its inside. The roll sheet is drawn out of the discharge port. The front face faces to a user of a printer and every sort of operation buttons and an LED displaying operation state are placed thereon. The bottom face of the body is an installation plate(a grounding face) of the printer and rubber bodies and leg members(13) are prepared in its four corners. Leg members(13) are prepared on the rear face of the body. When using the bottom face as an installation plate, the discharge port of the roll sheet is placed on the upper part. When using the rear face as an installation plate, the discharge port of the roll sheet is placed on the lower part of the front face. When using the side face(11d) as an installation plate, the discharge port is placed adjacent to the left part of the front face.
