PURPOSE: A reservation call processing apparatus of the exchange is provided so that a calling subscriber and a called subscriber can be connected in a call at a reserved time by reserving a desired time for a target telephone number failed to call once. CONSTITUTION: An input-output processor(12) registers a reservation call function in a main processor(18) by the key operation of an operator. A line processor(14) provides ring tones to local subscribers selectively by the control of a transit call control unit(22) and transmits a multi-frequency signal to a multi-frequency transceiver unit(16). The multi-frequency transceiver unit(16) supplies the multi-frequency signal to a signal processing control unit(20) and a signal supplied from the signal processing control unit(20) to the line processor(14). The main processor(18), composed of the signal processing control unit(20), the transit call control unit(22), a number translation unit(24) and a call registration processing unit(26), carries out local subscriber call processing and transit call processing. A timer(28) operated by the control of the call registration processing unit(26) checks the reservation of a reserved call and informs the call registration processing unit(26) if the reserved time comes.
