EMERGENCY OPERATION METHOD OF GAS BOILER

PURPOSE: When normal operation is impossible by the malfunction of a gas boiler system, an emergency operating method of a gas boiler is provided the heating and hot water by preventing switch-off a boiler system with operable components inside system until repaired. CONSTITUTION: An emergency operating method of a gas boiler comprises the steps of; recognizing the malfunction of a gas boiler and switching on an emergency operating system (S10); deciding the necessity of emergency operation by a self-diagnosis on my-com; if necessary, setting a temperature of heating and hot water (S26); self-diagnosis on components of a gas boiler system by a respondent signal (S28); if founded malfunction in other components excluding a thermistor, turning to an error mode (S32) and informing users of the impossibility of an emergency operation by blinking an emergency operation lamp (S34); if nothing wrong, performing normal combustion by sensing measuring temperature from thermistor (S36); integrating time required for emergency operation (S88); when exceeding the time, stopping an emergency operation and switching off a system (S46).
