PURPOSE: An apparatus for coupling cathode ray tube of a cathode ray tube projection television is provided to improve the assembly of the lens-cathode ray tube structure. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for coupling cathode ray tube of a cathode ray tube projection television includes a first lens-cathode ray tube assembly(32), a second lens-cathode ray tube assembly(32), and an elastic member(44,46). The first lens-cathode ray tube assembly(32) includes a cross section on one side of it. The second lens-cathode ray tube assembly(32) includes a combining member(42) which is fitted into the cross section of the first lens-cathode ray tube assembly. The elastic member(44,46) is attached between the cross section and the combining member and so as to block the inlet of dusts. The elastic member according to the present invention is implemented on the combining member or is implemented on the cross section of the first lens-cathode ray tube.
