DEVICE FOR REMOVING CHIP OF MACHINING CENTER AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A device for removing a chip of a machining center and its control method are provided to automatically remove chips piled on a main shaft during processing or before exchanging a tool when an exchanging order of tool is commanded. CONSTITUTION: When a removing order of chip to remove chips(20) piled on a main shaft(S) or an exchanging order of tool is commanded during processing a material, a value controller transfers the main shaft(S) to a washing location having a jetting nozzle(N) by stopping a performance of a next order temporarily and controlling a transferring shaft. When the main shaft is transferred to the washing location, the value controller drives a pump(P) and excites an electronic valve. Thereby the value controller removes chips(20) by jetting a cooling liquid(C) onto the main shaft(S) through the jetting nozzle(N).
