<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To catch mist and dust efficiently without being affected by the mist of water, sulfuric acid, and the like, generated in the decreased temperature desulfurization process of a desulfurizer by a method in which, in an electric precipitator installed on the after stage of the desulfurizer, an exhaust gas heating means is installed on the upstream side in the exhaust gas flow direction of its dust collecting electrodes. SOLUTION: In an electric precipitator 10, discharge electrodes 12 and dust collecting electrodes 14 are installed alternately at prescribed intervals, an exhaust gas 26 containing mist of water, sulfuric acid, and the like, is introduced from an inlet 24, a clean gas 30 removed from the mist and dust is discharged from an outlet 28. A heating means 32 is installed upstream the discharge electrodes 12 and the dust collecting electrodes 14 to heat the exhaust gas introduced from the inlet 24. Steam is used as the heating source of the heating means 32, and the flow rate of the steam is controlled by adjusting the opening of a valve 36 by a controller 18. The temperature of the exhaust gas is measured by a temperature measuring means 22, and calorific value of the heating means 32 and the temperature of the exhaust gas is kept by inputting the measured temperature into the controller 18.</p> |
