PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce the subject film without any slackness and without causing whitening even when bent by carrying out a calender processing of a high- density polyethylene having both the ratio of the weight-average molecular weight/number-average molecular weight and the weight-average molecular weight in specific ranges. SOLUTION: This film comprises a high-density polyethylene having the ratio of the weight-average molecular weight/number-average molecular weight within the range of 10-30 and the weight-average molecular weight within the range of 100,000-200,000. The film preferably has 40-600μm thickness. The film is produced by carrying out a calender processing of the high-density polyethylene at 150-220 deg.C roll temperature and rolling the high-density polyethylene to the thickness. The resultant film can suitably be used as a substrate film for decorative materials, displays, markings or stickers. |
