PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the oil rising quantity by dividing the space formed between a compression mechanism part and an electric motor through a demister, providing the demister on a rotator, and opening a discharge pipe to the space close to a compressor rotating shaft. SOLUTION: When a rotating scroll 6 is rotated through a crank shaft 8 by an electric motor 3, the coolant gas sucked through a gas intake pipe 15 is compressed by the action of a fixed scroll 5 and the rotating scroll 6, and discharged to the upper space 14 of a sealed vessel through a discharge port 17 in the state mixed with lubricating oil. The discharged gas is carried down through a groove provided on the outer surface of a frame 7 and passed in a demister 26 rotating together with a rotor. The oil particle within the gas is adsorbed by the demister 26 and separated from the gas. The separated oil is returned to a space 25 distant from a compressor rotating shaft by the action of centrifugal force, and the lubricating oil drops by the dead weight or runs over the outer wall of the frame 7 into an oil sump 4. On the other hand, the coolant gas is carried to the outside through a discharge pipe 16.
