PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts of a locking device in which a latch bolt advances/retracts. SOLUTION: A forward end part of a coil spring 2 to energize a latch bolt 6 which advances/retracts in a horizontal direction in a retracting direction is pressure-welded with a back vertical surface 22 of a movable stopper 18 slidably installed on the bolt 6, and a second engagement part 27 of a pushbutton 7 to unlock the bolt 6 is slidably pressure-welded with a forward inclination surface 21 of the stopper 18 in an inclination direction. A first engagement part 26 of the pushbutton 7 is engaged with/removed from a groove part 31 in the bolt 6 from the underside of the bolt 6.
