PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block assembly and a structure of a wall using the block assembly, which is higthly effective in constructing vertical and inclined walls. SOLUTION: In this block assembly and a wall 10 constructed thereof, each masonry block or other material has a vertical through hole 14 with an enlarged and offset lower portion and a relatively small upper portion. Each engagement member 16 has an enlarged and offset upper portion and a small lower portion for insertion into the lower portion of the through hole 14 in each block 12. The upper portion of each engagement member 16 is placed on top of a first row of blocks 12 and inserted into the lower portion of the adjacent block 12. The blocks 12 are thus fixed in horizontal appropriate locations or fixed vertically or within an inclined wall structure. Therefore, the engagement members 16 each in a first attitude are provided in an ordinary vertical wall and are rotated 180 degrees about their vertical axes, whereby an inclined wall can be formed.
