PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft bait lure capable of being used for a long period of time and also sinking rapidly, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: A lure body 1 has a trunk part 1a and a tail part 1b formed in one unit in a rear direction of the trunk part 1a. The tail part 1b is formed as thinner in its width direction than that of the trunk part 1a, and also is an almost thin plate type positioning its bottom part in an upper surface direction than an extended line X from the bottom surface of the trunk part 1a. Further, the lure body 1 is a member having elasticity e.g. of a polychloroprene rubber, polyisoprene rubber, natural rubber, or the like, and formed with a transparent or semi-transparent resin in such an extent that the light can penetrate. In the vicinity of the bottom part of the trunk part 1a, a glass material 2 is admixed.
