PURPOSE: A printer having a paper preheating function is provided to remove oil and moisture components from a surface of a printing paper by applying a predetermined heat to the paper so that degradation of image due to the expansion of an image spot area by the oil component is prevented and applying of lower transfer voltage due to the moisture component. CONSTITUTION: A printer having a paper preheating function in which a printing paper stacked in a paper tray cassette is picked up by a pick-up roller(10) and supplied to an image forming element for performing printing of the paper, includes a paper preheating part positioned between the pick-up roller and the image forming element for removing oil and moisture components from a surface of the printing paper by applying a predetermined heat to the paper, wherein the paper preheating part is to be a preheating roller(20) provided with a heating element inside.
