PURPOSE: A lining paper is provided which utilizes the function of a charcoal so that it can easily eliminate a bad smell generated from cement and a volatile harmful component to enable the final papering work convenient. CONSTITUTION: A lining paper is produced by the following steps of: (1) Coating a compound which is consisted of 50-75 wt% of a charcoal which has far-infrared ray radioactivity, discharges a negative ion, controls temperature and humidity, absorbs electronic waves and prevents the generation of harmful microbes and 25-50 wt% of an adhesive to one side among surfaces of usual lining paper in an amount of 100-300 g/m¬2; and (2) Drying it at 50-70°C to produce the lining paper.
