METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING ACCESS BURST IN MULTIMEDIA SATELLITE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for transmitting an access burst in the multimedia satellite communication system are provided to transmit an access burst to a central station by using an access CDMA code selected after selectively switching access CDMA codes assigned from the central station. CONSTITUTION: A CDMA channel transmitting unit(47) consists of a CDMA code data storage part(471), a multiplexer(472) and a CDMA modulation part(473). The CDMA code data storage part(471) is composed of a plurality of shift registers(SR10-SRN). The multiplexer(472) outputs the CDMA code data of the CDMA code data storage part(471) selectively according to a control signal supplied from a processor(53). The CDMA modulation part(473) modulates an access burst supplied from a transmitting frame generation part(46) using the CDMA code data provided from the multiplexer(472).
