PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a substantial roof by forming stepped decorated face at different angles on the eaves side of a metal roof material forming a male- female connection structure at the width direction side edge. SOLUTION: A male connection 9 is formed of a stepped decorated face 6 and an insertion edge 7 by bending width direction one side edge of a metal roof material B to the lower side of the decorated face 4 in the form of a near U. Subsequently, a female connection 13 is formed of a fitting groove 10 fitting into the insertion edge 7 formed in the form of a U in cross section by bending to the upper side of the decorated face 4, a fitting edge 11, a fixing piece 12 that bends downward the tip of the fitting edge 11 and is nearly parallel with the decorated face 4 and bent outward in the form of an L and extended on the other end of the decorated face 4. Subsequently, as the stepped decorated face 6 is formed at different angles, sunlight is not reflected to people below the eaves, the stepped decorated face 6 looks differently colored, thereby presenting an appearance never seen before when people under the eaves look up the roof and forming a substantial roof.
