摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily control the poured quantity of molten metal into a mold and also, to reduce the spouting flow speed of the molten metal from an immersion nozzle, in a continuous casting method directly pouring molten metal into the mold from a ladle without using a tundish. SOLUTION: The continuous casting equipment is provided with a first sliding nozzle 3 fitted to the bottom part of the ladle 2, a second sliding nozzle 5 fitting the immersion nozzle 6 to the lower part thereof and a long nozzle 4 connecting the first sliding nozzle with the second sliding nozzle. The molten metal in the ladle is poured into a mold 7 from the immersion nozzle through the first sliding nozzle, long nozzle and second sliding nozzle while forming the surface 10 of the molten metal 1 in the long nozzle by adjusting the opening degree of the first sliding nozzle and the second sliding nozzle.
