PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an accurate measured value by correcting an error even if the error is generated in the coating material feed flowmeter and a coating material return flowmeter of a coating material amt. measuring apparatus. SOLUTION: A coating material feed flowmeter 1A measuring the amt. of the coating material flowing through the coating material feed piping 3 for feeding the coating material fed from a coating material tank 8 to a coating gum 10 and a coating material return flowmeter 1B measuring the amt. of the coating material flowing through a coating material return piping 4 for returning the coating material not emitted from the coating gun 10 to the coating material tank 8 are provided. At a time of coating-OFF, flowmeter deviation is measured on the basis of the difference between the coating material amt. of the coating material feed flowmeter 1A and that of the coating material return flowmeter 1B. At a time of coating-OFF, the emitting amt. of the coating material is measured on the basis of the difference between the coating material amt. of the coating material feed flowmeter 1A and that of the coating material return flowmeter 1B to be corrected on the basis of the flowmeter deviation.
