PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reuse hard metal scraps containing tungsten carbide, etc., as materials for molded articles having a high specific gravity. SOLUTION: A power prepared by grinding hard metal scraps containing tungsten carbide until yielding a particle size of 100μm or smaller, or a recycled powder prepared from this hard metal scrap powder by removing wax components and binding phases such as cobalt, etc., is added with from 1 to 10 wt.% thermoplastic resin or thermosetting resin and molded into a predetermined form at a temp. from room temperature to 330 deg.C. Preferably, the scrap powder of hard metals containing tungsten carbide is a powder from which wax components have been removed through heating.
