PURPOSE: An image pick-up apparatus and a digital camera are provided to prevent noise with low cost. CONSTITUTION: An image pick-up apparatus includes a CCD(charge coupled device) imager(20), a color filter(20a), and a pulse generator(18). The CCD imager(20) includes a plurality of lenses and a parallel of vertical transfer registers. The CCD imager(20) is an interline transmission type. The color filter(20a) includes a plurality of color components. One of the color component corresponds to one lens. The pulse generator(18) generates a driving pulse for the CCD imager(20). The color filter includes a vertical row in which a plurality of color components are arranged. The driving pulse operates the CCD imager so as for charges corresponding to a color component of same color to be mixed on the vertical transfer register corresponding to the vertical row.
