PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing charcoal powder and preparation methods thereof are provided for removing the waste materials effectively from the skin such as an excess sebaceous material, a horny layer, and dust. CONSTITUTION: One example of methods for producing the cosmetic composition containing charcoal powder comprises the steps of: dissolving 1 wt% of xanthan gum, 15 wt% of aluminium magnesium silicate, 0.2 wt% of dipotassium glycyrrhiza (C42H6K2O16) in 53.4 wt% of purified water at room temperature; heating and solubilizing 10 wt% of propylene glycol (C3H8O2), 0.2 wt% of butylparahydroxybenzoate (C11H14O3), 0.2 wt% of methylparahydroxybenzoate (C8H8O3), and fragrance at 65°C mixing two solution; and adding 20 wt% of charcoal powder with 200 to 500 mesh size.
