PURPOSE: An emergency call processing method in the IMT-2000(International Mobile Telecommunications-2000) network is provided to process an emergency stably and effectively at a high speed. CONSTITUTION: A UIMF(User Identification Management Function) transfers an emergency call request to an MCF(Mobile Control Function). The MCF receives the emergency call request and transfers an emergency call setup request message to an SACF(Service Access Control Function). Receiving the emergency call setup request message, the SACF announces a CCF(Call Control Function) and an RACF(Radio Access Control Function) that an emergency call processing is required. Accordingly, the radio resource assignment between the RACF and an RACAF(Radio Access Control Agent Function) and the call processing by the CCF are carried out in parallel.
