PURPOSE: A method for upgrading the flash ROM of a TDLB(Text Data Line Board) in the advanced information communication processing system is provided to save the time required for the upgrade of the flash ROM and to achieve more improved service by upgrading all flash ROM's used in the TDLB at a time. CONSTITUTION: An operator instructs a command to upgrade the flash ROM of a TDLB using a program of an LOMS(Local Operation and Management System) and transmits the upgrade data(S510). The upgrade command and data are received to a TSPB(Telephony Signal Processing Board) through an HSNB(High speed Switch Network Board) from a TNAS(Telephone Network Access Subsystem)(S520). Detecting the upgrade command and data, the TSPB transmits the upgrade command and data to the TDLB through an IPC link(S530). The TDLB, receiving the upgrade command and data form the TSPB, upgrades its flash ROM(S540).
