摘要 PURPOSE: A method and a device for recording optical information are provided to record at a high speed without using a high power laser. CONSTITUTION: A CPU(central processor unit) reads out(SA1) a DISC code from ATIP(absolute time in pregroove) data. The CPU selects(SA2) initial value information of optical strength corresponding to the DISC code from the information in a storing unit. And, the CPU sets(SA3) a strategy information regulated in the initial value information of optical strength in a strategy generator. The CPU specifies(SA4) an OPC(optimum power control) area on an optical disk while setting(SA5) a recording electricity initial value and a bottom electricity initial value in an LD driving circuit to operate(SA6) an OPC. Then, the CPU decides(SA7) recording electricity and bottom electricity based on the result of the OPC for setting(SA8) the electricity in the LD driving circuit. The CPU generates(SA9) a digital signal for the information to be recorded. And, the CPU operates(SA10) an information recording by outputting the digital signal to the strategy generator.
