PURPOSE: A gate driving circuit of a voltage actuated switching device is provided to maximize the influence of di/dt as well as dv/dt, so as to prevent the device from mal-functioning. CONSTITUTION: A gate driving circuit of a voltage actuated switching device includes a driver(107), a detector(106), a voltage dropper, and a voltage supplier(105). The driver(107) amplifies the control signal for controlling the switching operation of the switching device. The detector(106) detects the operation of the switching circuit. The voltage dropper decreases the output voltage of the driving circuit while turn on and turn off slowly. The voltage supplier(105) increases the output voltage of the driving circuit while turn on and turn off slowly.
