PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tripod of portable gas cooking stove having strength high enough not to be bent or distorted easily. SOLUTION: A tripod 27 being fixed to a gas cooking stove body 21 comprises a horizontal part 29, a lower part 30 forming a closed face and having an end part 30c located lower than the lowermost end of the body 21, and an upper part 31 formed continuously to the lower part 30 and having an end part 31c located higher than the uppermost end of the body 21 wherein the lower part 30 is welded to the upper part 31 at an intersection therewith. Since the lower part 30 forms a closed face, strength of the entire tripod 27 is enhanced and the entire tripod 27 is prevented from being bent or distorted.
