PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a hybrid compressor capable of smooth transition between two drive sources. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic clutch is put on when the revolving speed of a compression part is identical to the engine revolving speed, if an engine is to be started or if engine is in acceleration and transition is made from the motor drive into engine drive. The motor is actuated before the electromagnetic clutch is disengaged in case the engine is stopped or in case the engine is in deceleration and transition is made from the engine drive into motor drive, and then the electromagnetic clutch is disengaged.
