METHOD FOR PREPARING POLY(P-T-BUTOXYSTYRENE)

PURPOSE: A method for preparing poly(p-t-butoxystyrene) is provided which is able to effectively prepare the poly(p-t-butoxystyrene) under relatively simple conditions. CONSTITUTION: A poly(p-t-butoxystyrene) is prepared by polymerizing p-t-butoxystyrene with using an organometallic compound as a polymerizing initiator and using a mixed solvent comprising a hydrocarbon solvent and (poly)alkylene glycol diether as a polymerizing solvent, wherein the polymerization reaction is performed under highly vacuum condition or an inert gas atmosphere at a temperature of -50-0°C.
