PURPOSE: A color display device is provided to implement desired color reproduction, optical transparency, and simple structure as well as a brightness of the overall device. CONSTITUTION: A color display device according to the present invention includes a substrate(1), a pixel structure, and a color filter. The substrate(1) is for the board of the color display device. The pixel structure allocates a plurality of unit display regions through which light passes. The pixel structure is formed on the substrate(1). The color filter is arranged corresponding to each unit display region. The color filter covers a portion of the unit display region while leaving the other portion as not covered. The pixel structure further includes black matrix allocating the plurality of unit display region in a matrix form.
