PURPOSE: A method is to provide a hydrogen peroxide solution having more than 2.5 wt.% of hydrogen peroxide. CONSTITUTION: In the method, oxygen is continuously reacted with hydrogen in a solvent such as water and/or alkanol containing 1 to 3 carbon atoms in the presence of a palladium catalyst structure to yield a hydrogen peroxide solution containing more than 2.5 wt.% of hydrogen peroxide. The catalyst structure is an arranged catalyst packing and made of a woven metal. The active components further comprises palladium and a valuable metal as a promoter. The mole ratio of palladium to metallic promoter is in the range from 100:1 to 1:10. The promotor is selected from the group consisting of platinum, rhodium, iridium, copper, silver and gold.
