METHOD OF PROCESSING RDC WRITE BACK CACHE IN RE-DRIVING HARD DISC DRIVE DOUBLING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for processing an RDC(redundant array of independent disk controller) write back cache in re-driving a hard disc drive doubling system is provided to secure the reliability of a hard disc drive by conforming each FAT(file allocation table) of a host cache and a hard disc drive. CONSTITUTION: A first SCSI(small computer system interface) bus is reset by an MPU(micro processor unit) and an RDC does not receive a SCSI command from the MPU through temporary non-activation of a target SCSI device driver. The MPU takes the changed FAT(file allocation table) data by recording the data in a write back cache of a real hard disc drive while the RDC waits for the MPU. The RDC receives the command from the MPU by activating the target SCSI device driver again.
