PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an aqueous solution type propolis food composition good in liquid-phase stability, capable of improving the texture and having putrefaction preventing performances. SOLUTION: This propolis food composition contains (A) a propolis component soluble in water alone or a mixture of water with a water-soluble solvent capable of forming hydrogen bond with the water, (B) water alone or a mixture of water with the water-soluble solvent capable of forming the hydrogen bond with the water, (C) an organic acid having >=2 carboxyl groups or the carboxyl groups and amino group and, as necessary, (D) a polyol-fatty acid ester-based emulsifying agent. The content of the component (C) is 1-150 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the total amount of the components (A) and (B) and the content of the component (D) is 0-25 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the total amount of the components (A) and (B). |
