PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve running stability of a hybrid vehicle to transmit at least one power of powers for an engine and a motor to a wheel and to prevent the occurrence of the feeling of physical disorder of a driver or a worker. SOLUTION: In a control device for a hybrid vehicle to have an engine or a motor to transmit a power to wheels, set a plurality of modes to drive at least one of the engine and the motor, and select some mode based on a given condition, engine control means (steps 201-205 and steps 207-212) select a mode in which, in a state that it is not favorable that the engine under a stop is started, the starting of the engine is prohibited or limited regardless of a given condition. |
