PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve nice-looking of appearance, to attempt wt. saving and to ensure appropriate hardness and rigidity by embedding a band sheet-like reinforcing plate consisting of an amorphous metal in at least a shaft part of a racket frame in the racket frame made of a fiber-reinforced synthetic resin. SOLUTION: A tube 1 being a core material for a racket frame is constituted of a face part with a yoke part, a shaft part and a grip part. In this case, after a prepreg 2 is arranged on the outer periphery of the tube 1, a reinforcing plate 3 made of an amorphous metal is arranged thereon. In addition, after the reinforcing plate 3 is covered with the prepreg, the tube 1 is expanded and heated in a mold to cure the prepreg 2. Thereafter, it is released from the mold and burrs are removed to complete a product. It is possible thereby to embed the reinforing plate 3 in the product FRP 4. It is possible to ensure appropriate strength and rigidity of the product and to improve durability by combining the FRP 4 and the reinforcing plate 3 made of the amorphous metal like this. |
