PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the manufacture at a low cost, prevent the scattering of glass wool and improve the sound eliminating performance by combining bundled materials consisting of a bundle of a number of long glass fibers to form a braided cloth, and imparting bulkiness to the braided cloth to form a sound eliminating material, and winding this sound eliminating material on the circumference of an exhaust pipe having a small hole. SOLUTION: A bundled material is formed of a glass fiber layer 2 consisting of a bundle of a number of glass fibers 2a and a resin fiber layer 3 consisting of a number of rein fibers 3a arranged on one side thereof. A triaxial braided cloth 4 is formed by use of the bundled material. Namely, a bundled material 1a is vertically arranged, the other bundled material 1b is obliquely arranged thereon, and another bundled material 1c is arranged on the bundled material 1b in the oblique direction opposite thereto. According to this, triaxial regular triangular crosses 5 are formed as air holes extending to both sides of the triaxial braided cloth 4. Thereafter, the triaxial braided cloth 4 is needled to impart bulkiness to each bundled material 1a-1c constituting the triaxial braided cloth 4, whereby a sound eliminating material is formed.
