PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel inlet which has a small number of parts in manufacturing, and is capable of easy manufacture with a small number of processes. SOLUTION: This fuel inlet is formed by press-molding a raw pipe welded by butting two round pipes whose outside diameters are equal to each other and whose thicknesses are different from each other at respective end surfaces thereof. That is, by expanding the diameter of the round pipe with larger thickness forming the raw pipe by means of bulge processing or the like a base part 10 is formed. By contracting the diameter of the round pipe with smaller thickness by means of press-molding or the like, a generic part 20 is formed. Excess thickness parts generated at the time of contracting are formed as a plurality of protrusions 25.
