PURPOSE: A method for preparing polyamide polymer is provided to prevent whiteness lowering as well as to improve hygroscopic property and comfort in wearing a cloth made of the polyamide polymer. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing polyamide polymer having good hygroscopic property according to the present invention comprises polymerizing ε-caprolactam with 3.0 to 15.0 wt% of polyvinyl pyrollidone using 0.05 to 0.25 wt% of acetic acid and 0.01 to 1.0 wt% of water as a catalyst.
