METHOD FOR PRODUCING L-AMINO ACIDS

PURPOSE: A bacterium belonging to the genus Escherichia and having an ability to produce an L-amino acid is provided, wherein the ability to produce the L-amino acid is increased by increasing an expression amount of an L-amino acid excretion protein, and a method for producing the L-amino acid using the bacterium. CONSTITUTION: A bacterium belonging to the genus Escherichia and having an ability to produce an L-amino acid, wherein the ability to produce the L-amino acid is increased by increasing the amount of at least one protein produced in the bacterium and selected from the group consisting of the following proteins of (A) to (H). A method for producing an L-amino acid, comprises the steps of: cultivating the bacterium in a culture medium, to produce and accumulate the L-amino acid in the medium, and recovering the L-amino acid from the medium.
