<p>PURPOSE: A method for expanding cell coverage using a delay element and a feedback delay element in the mobile communication system is provided to expand a coverage radius of a base station using a delay element and a feedback delay element. CONSTITUTION: A preamble window length is to be maximized(501). A cell radius is to be magnified at more than 45 kilometers by setting up an operating parameter associated with time delay(502). A call signal access signal received from a terminal is demodulated(503). It is analyzed whether the round trip delay of the demodulated signal is caught up by the preamble window length for access probe(504). If the round trip delay is not caught up by the preamble window length, a demodulated result is delayed by a delay element of an Rx0 receiving terminal(505). A demodulated result which hasn't been delayed is caught up by the preamble window length and accessed(507).</p> |
