VOID-CONTAINING POLYESTER FILM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a void-containing polyester film suitable as a base material of an image receiving sheet of thermal transfer, sublimation transfer or ink jet printer. SOLUTION: A void-containing polyester film containing many voids therein is constituted by bonding a void-containing polyester film (core layer) having an apparent specific gravity of 1.3 or more and containing many voids therein and a fine void-containing polyester film (skin layer) containing many fine voids originating from inorg. fine particles with an average particle size of below 1 μm. In this case, the void content in the skin layer is 20 vol.% or more and the thickness of the skin layer is l-20 μm and below 30% of the total thickness of the film and the apparent specific gravity of the whole of the film is below 1.3 and the average light moving distance thereof is 0.15 mm or less.
