PURPOSE: A preparation method for chitosan derivatives with high degree of substitution in uniform reaction system in order to improve substitution of derivatives and efficiency and minimize the loss of resulted products is provided by producing chitosan salts uniformly, through the use of suitable dispersing agents of organic substance and inorganic salt, then subjecting thus resulted product to a reaction with derivatives. CONSTITUTION: A preparation method for chitosan derivatives is including: producing uniform salts of chitosan by using an inorganic salts such as sodium chloride, sodium sulfate, ammonium chloride, potassium chloride, ammonium sulfate, and sodium acetate, etc. as an inorganic dispersing agent and urea as an organic dispersing agent, reacting chitosan having 90% or more of deacetylation degree and 100-10000 of degree of polymerization, in an amount of 1 wt.%-20 wt.% based on the weight of the dispersing agents, in an acidic solution at 50°C-100°C for 5 minutes-60 minutes; applying derivatives into the resulted chitosan to make chitosan derivatives having high degree of substitution by improving the cause of reduction in derivatives substitution efficiency.
