PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display in compliance with the hand and image similar to that of the case the actual pattern and the embroidery pattern of formed sewing data are actually sewn, to display the seams of the patterns with the coarseness meeting a set display magnification and to easily reset the changed coarseness and display magnification to a default value. SOLUTION: When an option menu screen is displayed by instructing an option key with a mouse on a sewing data forming screen, a coarseness set key is instructed (S5: Yes) and the coarseness used for sewing is set by a thread number via the displayed coarseness set screen (S10). The display magnification set key is instructed (S6: Yes) and the display magnification of the pattern size of the formed patterns formed via the displayed display magnification set screen is displayed (S11). When an image key is instructed (S7: Yes), the coarseness to be displayed is computed and the seams of the patterns are displayed by using the coarseness data by the real image display process.
