SHIELD MACHINE FOR DEFORMED SECTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield machine for deformed (ocean sunfish type) section with simple cutter mechanism, high strength, and high stability in face. SOLUTION: A cutter frame body 10 disposed with multiple cutter bits 10' at the front is constituted with a first unit frame body 10A on the left side and a second frame body 10B on the right side. While a shield machine 1 is moved forward, the unit frame bodies 10A and 10B are oscillated by an oscillating mechanism in an excavating section so as to be rotated reciprocatingly in an arc through an angle of 270 deg. to form an excavating section form into an ocean sunfish shape.
